There are three categories for youth competition based on age and gender:

 Little Princess    [ages 6-10]

 Little Prince       [ages 6-10]

 Junior Queen     [ages 11-16]

On July 22, 2023, the CHS held its 21st Annual Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Queen Pageant and 1st Annual Youth Royalty Pageant at the State Summer Meeting hosted by Lavaca County CHS at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville, TX.

In a highly spirited competition with three other candidates, Grace Moravec, Brazos Valley CHS Czech-Slovak Junior Queen, was crowned Miss Texas Czech-Slovak Junior Queen.

Grace is the daughter of John and Amy Moravec of Bryan and granddaughter of Daniel and Carol Moravec of Axtell.  She has one brother, Samuel.  Heartfelt congratulations are extended to Grace for her outstanding performance in the competition and to her family for its dedication and wonderful support which enabled her to win the title.  She represented BVCHS in a very admirable fashion.
